What we help with
Anxiety.
One of the most common reasons people reach out to us, and one of the most treatable. It can feel relentless, but it also makes sense: anxiety is often the mind and body trying to keep you safe, sometimes long after the danger has passed.
Common signs
How it can show up.
- Constant worry or racing thoughts.
- Physical signs like a racing heart, tight chest, or trouble sleeping.
- Avoiding people, places, or tasks.
- Panic attacks that seem to arrive out of nowhere.
- For many neurodivergent people, anxiety tied closely to sensory overwhelm, masking, or uncertainty.
Our approach
How we can help.
We start by understanding your anxiety in the context of your life, not just its symptoms. Together we might draw on evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT and Schema Therapy, always at your pace.
If you are neurodivergent, we will not ask you to simply calm down or mask harder. We work in a neurodivergence-affirming way that respects how your nervous system actually works.
If you are in crisis or need urgent support, please visit our Crisis support page or call Lifeline on 13 11 14. In an emergency, call 000.
Ready to reach out?
Whatever stage you are at, you are welcome here. Reaching out is a good first step, and we will make it as easy as we can.
