This notice explains the cookies, tags and similar technology used on liminalclinic.com.au. A cookie is a small file your browser stores so a site can recognise it; a tag or pixel is code that tells another company's server which page you opened.
What this website uses
- Strictly necessary — platform and security cookies that protect forms. Needed for the site to work.
- Site statistics — basic analytics cookies from our hosting platform. Not needed for the site to work.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, loaded through a tag manager container. Not needed for the site to work.
- Advertising or remarketing pixels — none, and none are permitted on this site.
- Forms — our newsletter and enquiry forms; our client intake form runs on our practice management system, hosted in Australia.
Our rule for sensitive pages
Some pages on this site are about ADHD and autism assessment, and gender-affirming care. A record that someone visited one of those pages can reveal health information, which is sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- No third party receives, from this website, the address of a page that reveals a clinical interest.
- We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels, and we will not retarget anyone from a service, assessment or gender-affirming care page.
- We do not sell personal information or use cookies to make decisions about your care or fees.

Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies load without consent. Everything else, including all analytics, loads only if you opt in — decline is shown as prominently as accept, and you can change your choice at any time from the site footer. Declining changes nothing about the website, your appointments, your fees or your care.
You can also block analytics yourself using your browser settings, a private window, or Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Where the data goes
Some of our platform and analytics providers process website data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We remain accountable for that under APP 8 and the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic). Information you give through our intake form is stored in Australia.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct it — see our Privacy Policy. To complain, contact our Privacy Officer below, or go straight to the OAIC (1300 363 992) or the Health Complaints Commissioner (1300 582 113) at any time. Complaining never affects your care.
