Liminal Psychology

Men's and trans eating and body concerns.

Eating and body-image concerns in men and trans and gender-diverse people are under-recognised and under-treated. Focused, affirming support that goes beyond the stereotype.

How we work with you

How we work with this.

A mirror, and what it leaves out

Eating disorders and body image affect men and trans and gender-diverse people too — but they often look different and go unrecognised. Muscle dysmorphia, restrictive eating, binge eating, compulsive exercise and dysphoria-related body concerns are all common.

We understand the pressures around bodies, food and identity. We offer support that doesn't assume eating concerns are a "women's issue", or that body image exists separately from gender.

Whether it's disordered eating, body-image distress, gym culture, masculinity norms or transition — we're here with affirming, focused care. Healthy body at every size.
